It's a new year, and again it appears that there will be a lot of change in the industry.  To most of us in the business, this is becoming the new normal.  The forms, rules and requirements are changing every 3-6 months.  Again, Likely the majority of change is not needed.  The industry has already shaken out most of the bad apples.  The underwriting is more strict than ever.  The appraisal requirements are extremely high requiring the appraiser to fill out mountains of paperwork that do not lead to more accurate appraisals.   The lenders are now licensed.   Wow, That is a lot of change.    All of that change, and yet not much really has changed in the industry.  The people who were following the rules all along have easily adapted to  the new rules which are basically a re-writing of the old rules that always existed.

Whatever the year may bring, My company will adapt and become educated on the changes to continue to provide high quality appraisals to our clients.
