This is great news!! AMC's will not be allowed to charge below the standard fee to the appraisers.   FHA will require the appraisers to be charged a customary fee.   Nationally, the customary fee is between $350-$400.  This new rule will not allow FHA appraisers to complete reports for less than this fee.  This is good news.  Now all we need is HVCC to adopt the same code.  No more low balling the appraisers who are doing all the work!!  Yeh!!!
